2. Eligibility and Registration
2.1 Age Requirement:
You must be at least 18 years old to rent a bicycle. Minors aged 16-17 may rent bicycles with parental or guardian consent.
2.2 Identification:
A valid photo ID and proof of address may be required for rental approval.
2.3 Account Setup:
If booking online, users must create an account, providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
3. Rental Terms
3.1 Rental Period:
The rental period begins at the time specified during the booking process and ends when the bicycle is returned to the designated location.
3.2 Late Returns:
A late return fee applies for every hour the bicycle is not returned beyond the agreed rental period.
3.3 Extensions:
You may extend your rental period by notifying us in advance, subject to bicycle availability.
3.4 Condition of Bicycles:
All bicycles are provided in good working condition. It is the renter's responsibility to inspect the bicycle before use and report any existing damage or issues.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Proper Use:
  • Bicycles must only be used for personal, recreational, or commuting purposes.
  • The renter must not use the bicycle for racing, stunts, or commercial purposes.
4.2 Care and Maintenance:
  • Renters must take reasonable care of the bicycle and ensure it is locked securely when unattended.
  • Any damage caused by negligence will result in repair charges.
4.3 Compliance with Laws:
Users must adhere to all traffic and cycling laws, including wearing helmets where required.
5. Fees and Payments
5.1 Rental Rates:
Rental fees are based on hourly, daily, or weekly rates, as displayed during the booking process.
5.2 Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit may be required, which will be returned upon satisfactory inspection of the bicycle at the end of the rental period.
5.3 Damage Charges:
If the bicycle is damaged during the rental period, repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit or charged directly to the renter.
5.4 Payment Methods:
Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment methods specified at the time of booking.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
6.1 Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the rental period begins will receive a full refund.
6.2 No-Show Policy:
Failure to collect the bicycle within the agreed timeframe without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the rental fee.
6.3 Early Returns:
No refunds will be issued for bicycles returned before the end of the rental period.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Renter's Responsibility:
The renter is responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the rental period.
7.2 Insurance Coverage:
We strongly recommend renters have personal insurance coverage for cycling-related activities.
7.3 Loss or Theft:
In the event of bicycle theft or total loss, the renter will be charged the full replacement cost of the bicycle.
8. Limitations of Liability
8.1 Service Availability:
We strive to ensure bicycles are available as advertised, but we cannot guarantee availability during high-demand periods.
8.2 Mechanical Failures:
We are not liable for any accidents or delays caused by mechanical issues that occur after the bicycle has been rented.
8.3 Third-Party Liability:
We are not responsible for any damages or injuries caused to third parties during the rental period.
9. Termination of Agreement
9.1 Breach of Terms:
We reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately if the renter breaches any of these terms.
9.2 Return of Property:
In the event of termination, the renter must return the bicycle to the designated location without delay.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 Resolution Process:
Disputes arising from the use of our services will first be addressed through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to local courts.
11. Amendments
